Burnt Oak Junior School

Burnt Oak Junior School is part of The Pioneer Academy.

The school admits 62 pupils into the two Year 3 classes each September. As the feeder school for Chatsworth Infant School, 60 places are offered to their Year 2 pupils with the remaining 2 places being allocated by Bexley Admissions who co-ordinate pupil admissions for Burnt Oak.  A copy of our admissions policy can be found on our Policies page.

We are an inclusive school that welcomes children from all backgrounds and abilities.

All parents interested in requesting a place at Burnt Oak Junior School are offered a warm welcome at the school and invited to meet with the Head of School for an informal guided tour. 

In Year Admissions

In-year admissions are co-ordinated by Bexley Admissions who operate the waiting list for our school. Please contact them for details of available places.

If you have been informed by Bexley Admissions that your child has been allocated a place at Burnt Oak, you will be contacted by the school and invited to visit with your child. Parents will be given an application pack to complete and offered the opportunity to visit the school. Once all the relevant documentation has been received you will be given a date for your child to join us at Burnt Oak.
