Sport at Burnt Oak

Here at Burnt Oak Junior School we offer a wide range of enriching activities to enhance our children's journey through sport.
A high quality physical education curriculum inspires all pupils to succeed and excel in competitive sport and other physically demanding activities. By providing opportunities for pupils to become physically confident and aware of the importance of health and fitness, along with outside school events we strive to build in our core values such as fairness and respect.
Our newly elected Sports Champions (pictured above) have very important roles to play; promoting sports events and activities for their peers, as well as running some of the activities themselves! They also write sporting reports and articles for the Burnt Oak Bulletin Newletter and their articles will be included on this page. Some of these children are also part of the Junior Leadership Academy (pictured above), run by Sue Allsop, who is the Bexley School Games Organiser and a wealth of knowledge on sports.
